A Sacred Jewel in the Heart of Vrindavan
Nestled in the divine lanes of Vrindavan, the Radha Damodar Temple is one of the most spiritually significant and historically revered temples in the Braj region. Founded by Srila Jiva Goswami
The temple was established in 1542 CE by Srila Jiva Goswami, one of the six illustrious Goswamis of Vrindavan who were entrusted by Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu to rediscover and revive the holy sites of Krishna’s pastimes. The presiding deities, Sri Radha and Sri Damodar (Krishna), were personally worshipped by Jiva Goswami himself, and the tradition of seva-puja (devotional service) continues unbroken till today.

The principal deities — Radha and Damodar — are worshipped with great devotion in the central sanctum. The temple also houses the samadhi (tomb) of Rupa Goswami, making it a spiritually charged spot for seekers.
