Sri Suktam also known as Sri Sukta is a devotional hymn in Sanskrit from the sacred Hindu scripture Rig Veda dedicated to Goddess Lakshmi.
Goddess Lakshmi is the Goddess of wealth, prosperity, abundance, joy and magnificense, and reciting Sri Suktam is one of the best ways to worshipping and to seek the blessings of Maha Lakshmi.
Devotees who recite Sri Suktam in front of Sri Yantra never ever suffer from poverty. The letters, syllables and words in the fifteen verses of Sri Sukta collectively form the sound body of Goddess Lakshmi, the presiding deity of this Vedic hymn.
Goddess Lakshmi is also referred to as ‘Sri’ meaning the personification of all auspicious qualities. Recitation of Sri Suktam invoke prosperity, goodness, health, wealth, joy, abundance and complete well-being.
