The Rabari tribes are an ethnic group primarily of Western India. They are also known as Rebari, Raikas, and Dewasi. They tend to be pastoralists and are in north, central, and western states of India such as Gujarat, Rajasthan, and Punjab.
 
The semi-desert Kuch region of Gujarat is the most significant area of the pastoralist communities of Rabaris. 
 
The Rabari tribe’s myth of origin is that Shiva put them on earth to tend to the camels owned by Parvati.
 
The intricate hand-embroidery work of the tribal Rabari women of Kutch is truly one of its kind and is known worldwide for its irresistible attraction .
